Its been about a year since this great run took place. Lets do it again...HFM you did such a good job setting the run up, how about it? Meets and lunches are cool, but the runs are the best times ive had in my Z....tom

 

I think this meet, run and lunch was my favorite. I'm totally up for another one. Do you have any preference for a Saturday run? We probably should be planning for an April date.

We could do this end of March but I don't know how large a response we would get with short notice. West Coast Nationals should be fun again.

So, we have March 27, 2004, April 3, 10, 17, 2004 as possible dates.

 

End of April please.

 

Here is the original meet thread with maps. The thread was posted February 18, 2003 and the run was held a month later on March 23, 2003. I believe we had over 35 cars turn up which was the largest meet with the exception of the east coast tri-state meet.

Ya I think that picture of all the Zs next to that big rock is one of the best, as i remember you lined us all up.

Boy how my Z has changed since that run!! Count me in for another Latigo run!!

 

I was at Neptunes onSunday a couple weeks ago on the Harley...there was hardly enough room in their lot to park the bike! To say it was packed would be the understatement of the year Something to consider...still think that run gave us some of our best photo ops

We will take Topanga Canyon road south to Mulholand. Take Mulholand west, pass the Rock Store and turn left down Kanan Road. From there we will take Latigo Canyon and head down PCH to Neptune's Net where we can have lunch.

From Neptune's Net we may go to Duke's and either stay there for a bit or head up Tuna Canyon back to the Valley.

There are a lot of twisties and this will be fun. People who like to go a little faster go up front. Those of us who like to take it easy take the rear. No crazy stuff, we don't want any unfortunate incidents.
