Yes, there is a plan B spot. A plaza just a little past Latigo Canyon in the Malibu area. If we don't get there in time before Neptune's is run over by bikes, that's our alternative.

I always like the idea of having options.

Dan, what about that other place we went to after one of the runs. "Dukes" I think it was called (or something like that). They had some good nachos.

Just an idea for a plan C in case we need more options.

Just got some batteries in my GMRS/FRS radio. I highly recommend everyone try to bring one (or two -- to lend one out), especially with a group this size. It'll be easy to split up and get lost, especially if plans change (no parking at lunch stop, etc.)

That's definitely another option. Only thing about Duke's is the vallet parking. I'm sure we can pay and self park. The patio provides a great view too. How full the parking lot is will be the deciding factor.

Cya Sunday.

FYI, if anyone is looking to pick up some cheap FRS radios, Best Buy is selling a pair of cheapie Cobra radios for 12.99 - 15MIR. I just picked up a set. I tested them and they work, how well remains to be seen. Cant beat free though!

Default Valet Parking ???

That's too funny. I would like to see a valet try to park my Z with the Tilton rally clutch and super-lightweight flywheel. He couldn't launch it. He would just keep killing the engine. It would be like watching the Keystone Cops.

I could leave that car parked on Wilshire Blvd. with the keys in it and the driver's door wide open. No one would steal it. No car thief could move it 5 feet. hahahahahahahahahaha

Default I will be there

The organizer of this run can take "(tentative)" off my name on the list. See you all there.

I ran at Streets of Willow yesterday. Got 6 runs for about 2 1/2 hours actual track time, and 120 miles, running on 100 octane race gas. It was a lot of fun, although I like the big track at Willow Springs Raceway much better - it is way faster.

I still have my competition tires on, and my adjustable suspension cranked all the way down, so I'm looking forward to the twisties in Latigo Canyon.

Great photo shoot on the first street behind Neptune's Net up on the hill. It's a new street with undeveloped lots and with the cars angeled right will have a nice ocean view in the background. Just a thought!!

Default 350Z Challenge at Willow Springs Raceway June 4

Expect me to be promoting the 350Z track event at the big road course at Willow Springs Raceway on June 4. We need a good turnout at the first SoCal 350Z track event, to get this thing off the ground and work toward 350Z-dedicated racetrack events.
