i would like to suggest a run.. its sort of long but worth it.. up to kern.. in the mountains behind bakersfield.. there is a big lake out there and the kern river and waterfalls.. very nice drive and lots of curves..also for those of you that are meat eaters.. 40 ounce steak for 30$$ bucks cant go wrong... Lysa knows what i am talking and some of the other on here

 

Yea that would be a great run..and for those who dont eat red meat, they have plenty of other delicious entrees to choose from

may 16th is Extreme Autofest's LV show btw... so if you go up there that weekend you can catch a car show n than back to losing your money afterwards hhaha jk ... think a month after that is the NHRA races too in LV.

Vegas seems like the consensus here.....BUT, let me pose a question..How many of you would actually be DOWN to drive your Z to Vegas? A lot of people that I've talked to before said they would rather drive a beater down to vegas because they didnt want to drive their "Show" car to Vegas..So let me pose the question..

Who would be willing to DRIVE/CARAVAN to Vegas for a weekend?

Our first Vegas run was awesome. It was essentially, a core group of buds that kicked it together and spent time together.

The second run was good but not nearly as fun since our group was split up and we didn't hang out as much.

If a third run is scheduled, I suggest plans be made in advance for evening activities, whether it's clubbing, strip clubs, shows or whatever. And, to get suites at an affordable hotel.

Whatever the case, if you post a Vegas thread, people will come.

 

Next group event should be the "meeting" to decide our group name.

RE: Beach Event

I'm interested in setting this up -- but one of the most important factors would be to get organized and keep everyone together. I've been trying to look into reserving a private beach (I've heard of these, but never been to one) where you basically pay a cover or group fee and enjoy a sectioned off area thats prepped and well taken care of. Anyone have any info or leads on this?

also don't forget the fun time trying to park cars at meets too and the either crappy *** lots or small area's.. thats one of the first things to look at when u plan a place to meet/stay.
