So... I was driving up to Chatsworth to take care of paying a front licence plate ticket (WACK) and the police station there had a big banner that said... 1st Annual Police Auto Show...

So I called...

Gotta call back... The Officer I spoke to is part of a Corevette club... Sounded like a cool guy... Sending me out some applications... $25 to show if you pay in advance... $30 day of the show... Suposbly a very fat packed gifty bag...

Anyway... what do you all think??? A way to check out everyones car and make sure there is nothing fishy???

Sounds like one of those stings where they send wanted felons notices that they won a trip to hawaii and just have to come in and pick up thier prize, only the prize is a set of cuffs and a free ride downtown.
