This was my 4th or 5th run, but somehow, something always happens to me. It just sucks, and discourages me from going again.
As the sole female Z runner/driver, I think I do a pretty good job keeping up, let alone running with the big boys.....! Thanx again guys for a great day, and thanx again to Pat for another wonderful run. Too bad Jed Clampet and his damn rocking chair held us up too......
looks like a good turn out and you guys had a great time. Too bad i had to miss it, I couldnt pull myself out of bed, I was so drained from work the week before I needed saturday to recover.

2 runs in a month? hell I was up in Malibu again this afternoon, it was a blast! I think I have had a run everyweekend except one. Only thing is I"m going to need brake pads soon.

I was wondering where you were on this run since we did the Angeles run. Wow 2 runs in a month has drained me.

Thanks Pat for planning things out and to Clint for the huge pre-meet meet; ~16 Zs, 1 nice S2K, and 1 fast 300ZX on a single lane convoy along 405 N is simply sick, making a couple of C5s, M3, and Sxx AMG a little envious; each engaged in an attempt to instigate a street race.
I was right 'bout calling you the canyon man. But hey now I know what's the big fuss. The Santiago Cyn run after the Dim Sum meet was cool and all but this run was great. I'm still riding the adrenaline 'til now and can't wait for the next one.
It is unfortunate that Jen veered off course but I think that this issue can be addressed provided that we develop an organized and systematic method of carrying out a huge convoy. I'm sure it can be done with everyone's input and willingness to cooperate.
BTW, does anybody know the guy with the blue roadster dropped on some springs with pending tokico shocks installation? He is very skilled and could not keep up with him on certain twists and perhaps I'm a cyn newbie.

Didnt mean to ditch ya! on our 3 Z mini run

I had planned all along to leave at 11:30 for LAX.
We just happened to be lost and in the middle of Bubba **** at 11:30.
It was fun though. Hitting speeds you couldnt hit when there is a Z in front and behind you.
your nav came in handy.
Catch ya next time.

I'd canyon run with you again... You can lead...

Diablo - enjoyed going way too fast on the straight to make the turn with you..
No biggie - after I was clear and new Sylmar my pager went off
with a downed server... I was in the data center in 15 minutes of call... If I were home in Orange County it would have been at least 1+1/2 hours on a saturday..

I got my fun - Quietly smoking a cigarette - eyelids closing...
Cheers Amy

Thanks for the compliment. I've been racing cars and teaching high-performance driving for over a decade, so I do have a bit of experience upon which to draw.
Ahhh that's explains it, I was questioning my cyn driving skills and bone stock car.I wanted to ask for your help in improving my performance driving skills but you were a step ahead. I can't make it on the 25th but I will plan on attending the August or December one.
Someone needs to start a thread for the August 21th session or I will.

Props to your friend's tight S2K. I didn't see him run but I bet he can take those twisties pretty darn fast.
