Just take the Ortega(74)fwy Exit, it will be on your right hand side as your heading south on the 5 fwy. You can't miss it. Once you turn off to the right and come to a stop sign, make a left going back over the 5 fwy and you will see the Chevron on your right and you will see an old Shell on your left, you can't miss it. We will be behind the Chevron waiting for everyone to show up.

If you're going south on 5, take the Ortega Hwy Exit., make a left at the light, continue for about a half a mile, it'll be on your right.

Anyone can join as long as you can get up early enough. Just bring enthusiasm. BTW, El Toro as in Lake Forest?

Small run, but worth it. After Ortega we did Winchester Canyon all the way to Palm Desert and stopped at the Elephant Bar for lunch. Glad eveyone showed up, except for...well we won't mention any names

Default Great Run!

Had a great run like Frenze said. After you and Z-Mats(nice to see a new face and glad you got to to along), we headed to Idllwydle(sp). Boy my suspension was awesome! Except for a few puckers(2 trucks that thought they were a model T ford and the other a wanabee Z)put a kink in our driving. Other than that a great cruise that turned into a very long but fun run!!!
Um, just wondering, the person that started this thread........what happened????

A couple hours of sleep and 270 miles of driving = exhaustion but fun. It was nice to to see 7 cars showed up even though this was really early. I hope to see Shawn's turbo Z and Z-mats silver track again on the next meet.

On to the pics. Oh yeah btw, where was umm....?

I couldn't wake up early enough this morning. It was already 6:45 when I woke up. There is no way I could make it by 7:15 driving from Anaheim. Next time =)

Man I was beat after that triple-canyon run. Ortega, Winchester/341, and Hwy 74/Idylwild in one sitting.

BBS RK's look awesome Z-Mats!

Sorry I flaked. I wasn't feeling good the night before, so I took some Theraflu. Needless to say, I was too doped up to be driving Monday morning. So I went back to bed. Glad the run went well.

Pretty decent turn out!

Jon, how did you like your Hotchikis? I'm sure the cornering was so much better than stock!
