It's been too long since we did anything 'big' as a group (other than BIR), so we should get something going in the metro area again. July 9th seems to be open, and I'm impatient.
Let's pick a place or several places to meet or stop at, start with a time, make a game plan, do whatever. Throw some ideas out in this thread.

Dude, the last thing I want to do is be surrounded by rude teenagers that need an asswhooping. Valley Fair has way too many thugs and gangsters for it to be enjoyable. Of course, I guess we could be our own gang.
I like the idea of Calhoun. If there's any other lakes in the area or farther north that has decent parking, chime in. I've always wanted to go down along the river just on the other side of the U. I forgot how to get there, but I know there's a way. It's the parking lot on W River Pkwy.

Since it's Friday and nothing concrete has been decided upon, I'm gonna have to make a command decision.
Let's meet at that parking lot in the map at noon. I figure that's central enough for everyone around the city, then we'll decide where to go and what to do after that. If you guys don't like that idea, our Plan B will be to meet at Lake Calhoun.
Either way, I'm bringing a map or something to figure out where to go or what to see.

I guess I'll cruise on over to that area by the U first because I want to see it.
You guys keep your eyes open for a private lot of warehouses or industrial area so we can think of doing a photo shoot.
