Up for sale is a 2002 Saturn L200 with the 2.2L four cylinder motor. Car is in decent shape with some cosmetic body damage and no known physical damage. One owner car with clean title. Purchased in 2002, Texas owned entire life.

The Good: The motor runs strong, transmission shifts well, and all the “expensive” parts are in good condition. New . We have records for everything – Mechanical work, oil changes, tires, inspections, everything. The AC blows cold with a new compressor. No shakes or shimmies, drives fine. Brand new tires, new plugs, new ignition coil pack. Mechanically, the car is in pretty good shape.

The Bad: Engine needs new drive belt, which we have, just not installed. There is body damage (see pictures) but it is all cosmetic. One minor hail dent on trunk, and some scratches in the clear coat on the trunk as well. Radio not in the best condition, but picks up all major stations and sounds decent if you don’t try to crank it all the way up. 100k mile Service light is on, but that just needs to be reset. Needs new brake pads.

The Ugly: The BCM is on the way out. At least, that is my feeling as to the electrical gremlin that seems to be haunting the car. At times, the fuel and engine temp gauge don’t work, the ABS light comes on, AC wont blow cold air. The BCM issue is a known issue, and it is temperature sensitive. I’ve found parking in shade pretty much alleviates the issue, but it is something you may want to look into. The car still runs fine and strong, it just tells you that it isn't.

Between replacing the BCM and the body damage, we are fairly firm at $2,000. Price is negotiable to a point, but no low ball offers. The car gets great mileage, is reliable in every other way, and has plenty of life left. It has been reliable thus far, never left us stranded. Again, we are somewhat firm at $2,000 but open to REASONABLE offers.
