I know most of you are probably out at the meet in Arlington tonight, I cant go cuz the car is still in the shop. Im really bummed, but Im sure I will make the next one. Anyways, I just wanted to see who was close by. Figured we could meet up more often if theres only 5-10 of us. Im free every day after 4pm and on most weekends. Post up and we can get some stuff planned!!!!

yeah I know about the cowtown club, but I am just looking for 350 owners, and preferably people under 40. lol. I will probably join the cowtown club soon

 

I think we have at least 10 350Z owners and a lot of younger types but you are right about the mean average age is over 40 and most of the cars in the club are older ones. I use to drive a supercharged 350Z, but the motor couldn't or wouldn't take it so I dropped down to a couple of 300ZX convertibles and a turbo'd ITR to get my racing fix. As far as us older folks we still like to play and in our mind at least think we are still young enough to hang with the kids LOL

 

yeah im not trying to say old people arent cool or anything. you can be my Z daddy! lol j/k.....ok that was dumb. I wouldnt mind seeing the 300zx verts, but an integra? just no style there IMO. I will look into the club, and let me know when your heading out and I will swing by

 

We have a club meeting/get together the second Thursday of every month. This month it is Thursday the 10th @ Macaroni Grill in S Arlington (the SE corner of I 20 and Cooper). Usually everyone gets there between 6:30 and 7pm. We eat dinner, cover what's going on and then spend time in the parking lot looking at our Zs. All owners of Z are welcome to come look, talk, and/or eat.

hey man, my name is andrew. i'm 18. we do have alot of older gents in this crowd but hey, we have great taste in cars. i live in Bedford, about a 30 minute drive from you. just a word of caution, don't go to the Arlington meets man. i used to go in my truck. bad place to be. stupid kids are always there looking for a fight. i "heard" Arlington hired 20 new cops just to catch and bring down ANY type of street racing and gathering there in Arlington. send me a pm and we'll get together sometime soon. i know a good number of other guys around here, so we can see what we can get in to. take it easy.

 

We do have a meet in Arlington every Monday @ American Best Coffee (parking lot of Costco) off Matlock just north of I 20. Mostly young import drivers ...... no fights so far As far as popo they leave us along!

 

yeah Ive never heard of cops "breaking up" a gathering of 35K+ cars. Whats funny though is I just watched this video the other day of girls having a catfight right outside of Costco during a "teen gathering."

ah well that's a diff meet than what i was thinking of. lol sorry bout that. the meet i was referring to is at I-20 and Lil Road/Greentrail at sonic. BAAAD meet. but hey, if yall have another meet goin on, i wouldnt mind heading down there.

 

normally people show up by 8 pm and it is still going strong well past 10. It's open to all groups.
