College Station, TX?
Hey guys and gals, wanting to transfer to Texas A&M next spring and I was wanting all the info you guys had to offer about the area.
Thanks.
John
Thanks.

Well, what do you want to know?
Nice campus...little too much concrete for me!
Lots of retail outlets around...plenty of things to do...and if your so inclined there is an amazing amount of tailfeathers on Campus...so I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy yourself.
Be a little more specific...and I'll be able to give you some better answers!
Overall, nice place...not too far from Houston...but plenty there to keep you occupied...once again I have to say tailfeathers!

But back to the original question. I spent 4 years there going to school, and I absolutely LOVE the area (and I was afraid I'd hate it after having lived in a "big city" for so long). It's like a smaller version of Dallas/Houston/whatever with everything to do and all within 15 minutes drive time.
And I LOVE the A&M campus. Be sure to go to Silver Taps and Aggie Muster at least once. They're both very humbling and incredible experiences.

Got my degree in 4.5 years loved every minute of it. But what do you want to major in?
Science, Engineering, Computing, and Business colleges are awsome.
Only one thing wrong, Austin is just down the road :-).

Good lord this place is amazing. I'm really never going to leave.
There's a fairly healthy amount of Z's around locally...I see about 4 regularly, another SB with the Nismo bodykit owned by a really nice guy included.

I graduated from A&M not too long ago, and it's a blast... Be careful with the College Station P.D., though. They will pull you over for just about anything, and in the four years I was there, I never knew anybody who got a warning.
Point is, if the speed limit is 45, don't assume they will give you five over. Especially in our cars.

I concur...CS/Bryan/Campus PD have nothing else to do but bust speeders and parties.
