I was just at Don Davis last night. I ordered Pikes Peak White in November, but wanted to see the blue in person. My car should be here in Jan. but I was thinking about changing the color of my order. I am going to see a white today. Don Davis has been great to me. Maybe you just talked to the wrong person. I have been very pleased with my service there.

Okay, not sound like a pain, but I think you are the only person thats had great service from a Don Davis dealership. I bought my first car from them and when I tried to get basic service done on it, they were really unsure and just giving me the run around. Also when I bought my car the car didn't have some things that they promised that it would come with, it took them a month and a half to get my floor mats in
I thought that I was talking to the wrong salesperson, so when I was looking for another car, I went back to Don Davis Nissan, since I was a repeat buyer, I thought I'd get better service. I was wrong, I walked up and didn't get helped until I waited 45 mins. When the guy walked up to me, he was the type that he knew it all, but didn't know anything. I was like this is great. Needless to say I didn't buy my car from them, for several reason that would take too long to post here. I bought my car from Trophy Nissan in Mesquite and I get my car serviced from Courtesy Nissan, awsome place.
BTW, if you are planning on doing performance or any aftermarket work on your Z, Don Davis will the quick to say we can't work on it, or it voided you factory warranty. I would go to Courtesy Nissan, they are a Z store/dealership and will work on cars that have been modified. They love cars that have been modified and will work on them w/o giving you the runaround.

I called the dealership before hand and told them exactly what I wanted. I went in the next day, placed my order, paid my deposit, and was on my way. I have been treated with great respect and everyone has been really attentive. Maybe its because I am a female??? Not sure. I have only had dealings there with 4 people, 3 of which are pretty new to the dealership. I am sorry you all had such bad experiences. I will be sure to pass the information along. Thanks.

don davis
Yah I was about to order from don davis in arlington. Talked to the fleet manager. I think his name was Ali. Nice guy but it was going to take too long. I found one in sherman really easily and had to wait only 2 weeks for it. Sherman is a great dealership. Their salesman, Chuck, drove the car down to my house in arlington and was very nice. It worked out really well.

z_brit,
You should come out to the CZOT event tomorrow. There will be a lot of the regulars there. It should be a good time. See the thread about Informal Statewide Z meet.
Welcome to the Z world!
