I have Colorado Plates with the Z plate holder and I will be possibly driving down to Texas to visit my parents on Vacation.

Can I be cited for having a Z plate over my Colorado Plates even though I am from out of state? What about clear license plate covers?

Pisses me off that I spent almost $50 on (2) Z plate holders and now I might have to take them off! End of Rant!

BTW, I am moving to Texas next year, so I might as well abide now, but just curious on the out of state plate question?

 

i have the nismo on my car...i have gotten pulled over and the police officer let that one slide..but not the other ticket for speedign....i think you will be ok unless some one is just looking for a reason to pull you over...

 

i have driving arounf with a NISMO plate cover for a year and have had zero problems

 

Question. Is driving around with a 'kewl' license plate cover (oxymoron?) worth getting pulled over for? Not?
