I am wondering what fees are added on to the price of the car. I have the quote sheet for the Enthusiast I ordered and it seems high. It is 28927 plus ttl. It comes out to something like 31107 on the dealers quote sheet. From what I calculate it should be as follows:
28927 MSRP
1808 (roughly 6.25% tax)
53 (fees)
13 (fees)
11 (fees)
----------------
30802 (not 31107 as quoted)

Am I missing something or are they trying to rip me off somewhere. They don't list out everything so I don't know. If someone in Austin could pull out there price sheet and see I would appreciate it. Thanks.

 

w/o breaking out a calculator, those fees look about right to me:

tax is 6.25%
title application is $13
I'm guessing the $53 is registration
$11 = inspection?

Don't forget about freight ($500 +/-?) and documentation fees (usually $50, which are BS ripoff profit padders)

 

Here were my fees:

Dealers Inventory Tax - 73.88
Sales Tax - 1452.31
License - 71.30
Title Fee - 13.00
Documentary Fee- 50.00
Deputy Fee - 5.00

Total - 1665.49 plus warranty if you so choose.
