Fellow Z'sters,
I am looking for a good shop to do some installation work.
I want to install an ISO Thermal plenum spacer and all the goodies.
If they offer a package deal I might let them put in my JWT pop charger.
I want to make sure they are Z specialist and repitable.
In other words, they do good work and don't try to rob you.
I'm also in the Coppell (North Texas) area.
I would appreciate any HELP you'all could give me.

Yeah, I would say both of those are "garage" mods that can be done fairly easily. You can have Jotech in Garland do it I guess? But the cost of labor would be the same as the cost of the mods.
i tried DYI on the plenum. broke a tool trying to get the strut bar off so i said f'it. getting it installed by someone for $40. Popcharger on the other hand is about as easy as it gets. Just follow the instructions.
I would just do them myself.. popcharger is definitely nothing too hard.. and as far as the spacer goes.. motordyne has good instructions on how to do it, so it shouldn't be too hard to do. You can always ask one of other Z drivers to help you too..

i love how when ever anyone asks for a rec on a shop for anything everyone just says they should do it themselves... if the posters of these threads had the tools and time to do it themselves they wouldn't ask for a rec on a shop
i'm all for that.. you can do my MREV2 installation if I can't do it or don't have the tools to do it
...please

When I made to offer it was not to install it at his place. He would just have to stop by my place. I have the all the tool you could every think of and the know how to do the job. Just trying to save people the expense of the install. I like the idea of making a meet out of it because I am sure there are people that would like to see it done.
both of those mods are not hard to install if u dont mess around and have the tools you could do it within 2 hours and would probably save enough money on install to where you could save up for the next mod's and you know ur not getting an install that's half assed unless u halfass it...
actually.. i got a great idea!! pay me the money you were gonna pay some "professional".. and i'll do the install right in front of you so you can see that i'm not doing it half assed

Guys,
I can easily do the Pop Charger myself and also the Plenum spacer,
The main problem is that I have heard allot of controversy over
how the strut bar needs to be re-installed (i.e. shock loaded or unloaded).
I have also never had the opportunity to adjust one.
Also, I am not that familiar with the Z engine and am somewhat hesitant
about jumping right in and doing the plenum spacer.
Help with the plenum spacer would be appreciated.
