basically if you wanna do it right the price can be as low as 6k to as high as 15k. depends on what kit you want. what guages you get, who installs it, tunning, and all the boost controllers and crap. i got the tnetics with boost and wideband guage, exhaust turbonetics flash. almost about 10 to 15k miles and still strong.. woopi. anyways like i said it matter on what turbo kit you want and what tune you want. call around to local shops like jotech and sgp racing and they would be happy to quote you. i got the install done for free as well as the guages install. only think i paid to install was the exhaust because it was a custom 3" pipe. if you got any questions you can ask me. ill be happy to answer.

Search.... Would be the first thing to say!

Search a little more.

Then ask youself a few questions!

How much you willing to spend, how far you want to drive, twin or single, tuned or out of box, any other mods or just bolt on kit, what is your hp goal!

Someone would need to know all the ?s before we can accurately help!

oh yeah dont forget youll need to upgrade your clutch and flywheel. i got the JWT and i like the setup. but for more power you might need act. and also consider you can only really push your stock block to about 400 to 450 and it cant really hold so much boost. and also consider that the more power the worse the traction on your car. unless you plan on driving with slicks all the time youll be all over the road at WOT in the low gears.. its fun!

I priced it out and I figured 8k minimum and like 4 grand more for twins (minimum). I think I am just going to save my money for awhile and in a few years when all those rich guys over in the FI section start selling their cars with built engines (so they can buy the GT-R?) I will just sell my Z and pick up one of there rides... heck right now there is a built Z and a built G in our for sale section for $36k/ea

He's going to need guages too and an upgraded rad and oil cooler. Plus if his wheels are still stock, he'll need wider rubber and wheels.

If you have $10k that is not enough money. A car that performs is a complete package. Brakes - Wheel/Tire - Suspension must all be upgraded which leaves you with about $4k for a turbo. You are about $5k away from a fast 350Z.

The 350Z has been available to consumers for more than 4 years now. You are not the first to inquire about a turbo application (in fact you're more like the 100th).

since you're in texas, go the 350zos.com and talk to those guys - many of whom have turbo kits and expertise in their installation...

Actually, in ZOS, there are a few turbo's and as far as I know, I'm the only SC. Since your in Allen, why don't you come out June 3rd to Grapevine and we can discuss all the differences and show you our setups. Hell, we'll even through in a few rides. Then you can make an honest discission which setup scared you the most!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's the best opportunity you will get to see a few different kits. We can tell you which mistakes to avoid as well. Hope to see you there.

I wouldn't say that $10K isn't enough....but you're talking parts + labor...so yeah, for an APS TT at least...that won't be enough.

$7,500 APS TT
$1,000 upgrade clutch/flywheel, etc
$1,200 + exhaust

This is all if you went APS. My car still needs an thicker radiator & oil cooler...maybe even an ugly vented hood that I'll regret buying just so I can let some heat out of my engine bay

If you go APS, the closest authorized installers are in Austin & Houston. But if you need to retune the car for any reason, I believe Jotech can now tune the Unichip.

I would honestly advise waiting for the tn 1.5 kit. with a water/meth injection kit stock and a real em solution it seems like the best bet for texans that deal wit extreme heat.
