So my GF was working at the tilted kilt and some guy dropped a glass on her seat and it shattered into her leg leaving small glass shards into her leg. Tiff tried to clean it out on site but it was into her panty hoes and other clothing so she asked the manager if she could go home and come back (we live less than 1 mile from the tilted kilt). He tells her she cant leave and she says you cant fire me if i leave (a big mistake i know since im a manager she basicly called him out right there) so he returns with clock out and dont come back. So anyweays after cleaning glass out of her leg for like 45 minutes im wondering what her options are? Anyone know the owner by an off chance? Id like to go beat down this jackass of a manager but i know that would just make things worse.

Anyways i guess im asking for a good waitress job. Or some kind of help for her. Shes pretty upset and despite her calling him out thats pretty messed up to fire her over that imo. Shes had a pretty rough 2 months since her brother was diagnosed with an aggressive case of melanoma and her father just got out of IC with blood clots in his lungs. thanks guys.

 

Damn that sucks man. I'll never go there again. Well I may go.

That manager is pretty sorry for that, I mean it would only take her a few minutes to clean it up and change clothes. I do not have any connections in waitressing jobs. I am sure someone on here has some info though. Good luck with this. Good luck Tiff.

 

U need to go to the top and bust this guy ---Management is more than just tellin people what to do. Dont let up on him --get documentation. Unfortunatly- if by chance she gets her job back and he remains management things will never be the same. Time to move on to bigger and better things.

 

that's what I told her. we are going to talk to the owner in person on wed. I'm a gm of a restaurant and I know the game. they really have crap management there and its ruining their product but you get what you pay for.
this manager really sucks but I think its hard to find an honest and hardworking manager these days anyways....
