People I will visiting the inlaws this weekend from the 1st to the 4th... anything going on in your neck of the woods? Anyone recommend a place to visit or stuff to do?

 

I'll be in Tyler, an hour east... probly more to do in Dallas, lol.

 

i'll be in fort worth... last time i went i was BORED... i wanna see if there's more to do than look at long horn bulls

 

Downtown Ft Worth is nice. Lots of nice restaurants and bars. If you're into art, Kimbell is a good museum to go too (even though its small). Ft Worth also has a nice zoo.

Well I have lived in Fort Worth all of my life...you can go to the Stockyards, the Zoo, the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum, any kind of bar or food place in downtown...Also you should go to the Concert in the Gardens...it is a lot of fun...there is live music and then a nice firework show afterwards...the best one is on the 4th of July. The Concert in the Gardens is in the Botanical Gardens off of University Dr. Or you could go to the Bass Hall in downtown Fort Worth. I don't know if your into that kind of stuff. My wife really likes the Bass Hall, especially since we got engaged there. Check out there website and see what is playing there...it's really fun to go there, go out to eat, and then be all dressed up and see something in a really nice conerct hall!!! Those are just a few suggestions...
