Default WTB 2003-2006 used Kawa Ninja 250

Hey guys,

The bike bug has got me. I just completed the MSF course and got my Class M. Now I am looking for a bike. My budget (and my ***) only allows for a 250cc bike. I want a street bike so the Ninja is the only way to go.

If you know someone who has one (clear title) in the Houston, Austin, or SA areas, please shoot me a PM or reply here.

Harv

quick question. How is a WTB a feeler?

Harv, how much do you weight? Are you sure a 250 is the way to go? kind of a REALLY small bike.

Well I don't want someone to get the impression that I will buy the bike as soon as they post info. Perhaps I will delete the the feeler part...it just seemed like it fit!

As for the 250cc size....I am 5'11 and 175lbs. Thin and athletic. I rode around on 250cc bikes all week (including 1 Ninja) and I can say they get up and move pretty good. I am not looking for a 10sec 1/4 bike. This will be my FIRST bike, and I have to include costs of equipment since I will start from scratch. It's not feasible for me to spend more than $3k for all this....so I figure a Ninja 250 is the best way to go. Besides, no other bikes holds its value like a Ninja 250. They are hard as hell to find right now, especially in the major cities. Even 4 year old Ninjas with 5k+miles are selling for $2300 (MSRP for 06 Ninja is $2999!!!).

Again, I want bang for my buck, looks, and ease of ownership...plus 70+mpg rocks!

Harv
