News Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

APEX DRIVING ACADEMY INVITES YOU TO JOIN US AT MOTORSPORT RANCH ON SEPTEMBER 23RD.

DALLAS – July 23, 2006– Apex Driving Academy would like to invite you to come out to our September 23RD, Bring Your Own Car (BYOC) event. Apex Driving Academy is North Texas’ premier high performance driving school located at MotorSport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. Our instruction for this event focuses on increasing driving ability while maximizing safety, in your own car.

BYOC Schedule:
8:30 Sign in
9:00 Classroom.
9:30 On track drills (slalom, threshold braking, lane change). After each track session you will return to the classroom for questions and feedback.
Two lead follows before lunch.
After lunch you will drive FOUR (20 min) sessions. At least 50% of these will be with an instructor in the car with you.
You can find the complete BYOC curriculum on our website www.apexdrivingacademy.com.
Class size: 2 groups of 18
BYOC Price: $195.00

Apex believes you need to practice what we teach, so we give you get a lot of seat time in one day. Make sure you and your car are up for the task! There is a Tech Inspection form on our website that is required, which you may use as a check list. This form must be filled out prior to the event and turned it upon check-in. Good brakes and tires are a must.

This is a High Performance Driving School focusing on classroom and on track drills using your own car. It is designed for the enthusiast that cannot spend a whole weekend at the track, but want to maximize learning in one day. This is not a timed event or an open track day. This event is available to any car, except convertibles without a roll bar. We allow passing in designated zones with required signaling. All safety aspects will be covered in the first classroom session which starts promptly at 9:00am. You must bring or rent ($10) a helmet. Driving suits are not required. You will need to bring drinks, snacks, and sunscreen. For track events, you will get dehydrated even if the temps are not that high!

We also have CG-Locks available you can try and buy, price is $35 cash. A GC-Lock makes your street car lap belt as tight as a racing harness. We highly recommend you purchase one for your on-track safety.

Additional information about Apex Driving Academy is available at www.apexdrivingacademy.com or by contacting D’Ann Vest at (214) 676-0385.

Update

We are over half full for the new student class.

We need some grads to sign up so we can run a grad group. Grads get 8x 20 min sessions. This is a ton of track time for the price.
