Sup Farre, I thought i did tell you about what i was planning to do to my car. I guess you would have to stop by the shop and have a closer look. As for the cruise, Chris (threefivezero) is in charge of that...hahaha. Tell him to set it up or else your going to harass him when you see him on the road.

Chris here...I called you about my Z having a stuttering problem. Well The dealership first put in a MAF sensor and said all good to go. No charge---under warranty . Then only about two weeks of driving it starts all over again. I take it back and they tell me its because I have a Nismo CAI and its throwing the MAF sensor out of wack. Get this ! ......they tell me I will need to go back to my stock OEM air box to fix the problem. I told them they're crazy.

On to the next Dealership....Grapevine Nissan....the service advisor was pretty cool and listened to my problem with the other dealership and tells me he will find out the problem and get it resolved. They let a "Master Tech" drive my car home to figure out the stuttering. They replace the same MAF sensor and told me the first one was not working correctly. So 2 days of no Z & again warranty takes care of it. Then another week of driving and its stuttering again ! I'm like WTF !!!! Call them up tell them I'm dropping it off again and to find out whats causing this. Again I leave the Z with them over night and the next day they call me and say your all good to go. I asked them what they did this time and they told me they replaced the Throttle body. But anyways all of this and still no charge under warranty. Thank goodness for that.

So its only been a couple of days since I've had the Z back and hope that this is over. If its not then I will definately need to come out for you to help me with this. Sorry I didn't come out earlier but I'm trying to get it resolved with the warranty so I have no out of pocket expenses. But if this continues then I will be calling you very soon.


BTW now that I vented my story to you- Your Z looks AWESOME !

I love the rims and I'm totally jealous of the Turbo. Did you sell your old rims ? If not then maybe I can buy.

Hello, i decided to get my stock wheels powder coated since i had them sitting around for about 6 months. I got them done, in order to try to match my 07 Solor Orange, however I told them the wrong paint code. So the wheels came out a bit off. Debating whether to take them off and get them redone, or just leave them on. The pic came out somewhat decent, let me know what you guys think.

 

That is more then a little off. I am not a fan.

 

Truthfully, I think that looks horrible. Our car isn't a Porsche GT3 RS - it can't pull off looks like that, in my opinion. Also, the wing definitely does not flow with the overall curvature of the car.

That looks way to Goddy & even a bit Ricer for me because of that wing. I would either have them Black or back to Hyper-silver.
