Your inbox is full.

I am interested in the exhaust. I can ship you my stock exhaust and wait for yours to come in. I am in Montana, so the Z is stored for the winter. If we use Greyhound for the shipping, it is not too expensive. It should only be about $50, or so.
Let me know,
Mike

I would like to save who ever takes the exhaust and myself the money and do it ourself in my garage yes. But I only have one set of jack stands and one floor jack, so anyone comming up would need to bring some jacks/lifts of there own. Also to be honest the only time I have done exhaust is removing it from an F150.

I am guessing that this is still for sale then. I will contact you closer to the 11th to see if you still have it. If you do, then maybe we can deal, otherwise...congrats to the new owner of your Borla.

It’s just a matter of getting the pieces apart and then taking them off the hangers. Also it's a good idea to use gasket sealer to be 100% that there are no exhaust leaks.

i wouldnt even bother taking the pieces apart. just get them off the hangers. use a lot of wd40 to help with lossening them up. ive had this done twice. once during the initial installation and once when i had my sways installed. its a pain in the **** just getting them off and on the hangers but other then that its a breeze.

I might be interested in the exhaust.. but then I did just spend $400ish on the Z this past week.. BTW, I don't know if you remember, but I met you at starbucks when you were checking out my exhaust - Topspeed Pro-1.

BTW, I have 350Z exhausts laying around in the garage. I have my own (mid-pipe and mufflers) and another (y-pipe, mid-pipe, and mufflers). Let me know if you're interested.

I heard you aren't supposed to use WD-40 on the rubber part, but some other spray as WD-40 does something negative to it.

Ya I remember My problem was spending to much $$$ on my Z to, the GF never did like it! But I need to get my *** back in school so the Z has to go.

If you really are interested let me know, I need to get a stock exhaust/cat on, and a stock head unit be4 I can get serious about selling it. Why the swap from the Pro-1? You thinkin about it for the TD?

love it.

pros

sounds great, more similar to a v8 sound. power gains have been proven to be one of the best for NA. Its lighter then stock. reasonably priced. great if you're going to get test pipes or hfcs cause it doesnt get overly loud but just enough to let people know you're there.

cons. very quiet when when used in conjuction with stock cats, almost too quiet. not much in the bling department. a lot of pieces can lead to leaks if not installed properly.

taking the oem exhaust off is a snap. ive done mine a few times when i change exhausts. Nothing to it. just grab some hand tools and a new can of wd40. Soak the hangers and all bolts you are going to remove, from all angles. let it settle in a little while and get to work. Its REALLY easy, i do it by myself all the time.

ps.

if you would take 300 and my stock exhaust. i would drive up there to do it
