Anyone camping out for the ps3 in teh austin area? I already hve a pre-order but id like to score another one to sell on ebay. Anyone doing it?

 

no need to camp. Get buddy buddy with someone at a store. Or do some research on the net and find out when shipments come in and become available. I found out when Sam's got their shipment in (xbox 360)....walked in early that morning and picked up the first one. No lines, no waiting. Called my lady at home and told her to run to the Sam's by our house and she picked one up too. This was about 3 weeks before Christmas.

 

what day exactly does it come out?

 

How much you guys think they will be going for on ebay?

Yeah thats what I figured. The 360 was around the same price on ebay. When does it come out? Going to have a launch party gatti-man?

 

Im guessing more than 1K. probably around 2-3K. More people are waiting for the PS3.

 

there are bids for $1300 right now on ebay and one sold as much as $1500 just for the console. I got 1 on pre-order, but I'm thinking of camping out to sell.

look on there now there are ones in the 1700

 

a lot of the super high $$$ ones have games and free shipping attached. there are just as many with buy it nows of 1000. its not that much profit when you break down tax, ebay fees, cc fees from paypal, and time lost waiting in line but I till mightdo it to defray the cost of the ps3.

solid- I will for sure have atleast 1 ps3 the night of the 16th so yeah sure people can come over but I'm only getting resistance fall of man ( the only launch title worth owning imo, already have oblivion). really buying it as a blu-ray player.

Yea, but I didn't ebay it. I put it on craigslist for like $600. People were getting raped for like $900-1200 during that week. I just wanted to cut the cost of the one I bought for myself without sticking it to someone too bad. I just can't justify ripping ppl off like that. Made about $120 off the deal which equalled out to me paying $360 for my 360. It was a buddle deal with an extra wireless controller, live headset, etc.

Won't be buying the PS3...when I compared the PS2 to the Xbox...xbox won everytime....If PS3 is better, it won't be by much.

 

Oh, forgot to mention guys....already modded my 360...I played copied games now....xbox live doesn't know the difference. Costs me $10 a game now instead of $60.
