i plan on taking the coupe out to HRP on the 18th to get some concrete numbers on how bad of a driver i am. Rob Nance mentioned that he would be interested in going. so i was wondering if anyone else is down to get out there. spring is here so this will be a good time to run before it gets too hot and slick........ie good ETs. so let me know. the information can be obtained here . just click on the 18th. let me know.....

As mentioned, I am in. I'm not a big dragstrip guy, but I have to admit, it's a lot of fun, and CHEAP. This was why a bunch of friends took our bikes to the dragstrip every weekend for about half a year almost. It's fun, and cheap.

 

You might want to consider going to San Antonio Raceway instead. It is a lot closer and a much nicer track. They have test and tune on Wednesday and Friday nights.

Yeah I would be up for going to the river city raceway it's only like 45 min to an hour away and it's a really nice track!

 

i have been thinking that i will head to SA on wed. anyone is welcome to join. i am way too anxious after seeing the guy (mquilatan) run a 14.1 in his 6MT coupe.

RiverCity raceway is a nice track. If you guys head out there I would definately head out there to watch you guys. Be cool to see some Z's in action!

I'm at 270 now and I have had the car for exactly one week.

 

break-in.......shmeak-in!!!!!! enjoy your car from day one. i had my car dynoed at 700 miles. but then again, you def dont want to be like me. i got to practice my launching skills tonight against an '03 Maxima. made me feel pretty good about myself. so the 18 is a go but i will still hit up SA on wed........

Hey Guys, I am planning on going tonight to Rivercity Raceway tonight. Who is showing up? I plan on being there around 6ish with a friend of mine. I've never run my Z on the Drag strip, still stock, just looking to have fun.

 

deviousZ and i are leaving austin at 5:45. should get there at about 7 or so. i have a diamond graphite G35 coupe and devious has a chrome silver 350. see you there......
