Everyone Drying out now?
Yeah after last nights storms over a good chunk of Texas is everyone drying out now?
The house I’m in the door sits under a good 7-8ft eve. And the rain last night was at a 90 degree to the front door last night
We didn’t lose anything, it forced water around the entire door but that’s about it. Our neighbors lost a tree (tipped it over).
The development is a mess with sand and junk all over the place (1 year old community that’s still building
). I did see that portopottys (sp?) do indeed fly. It lifted about 4 house distances and then slammed on the ground in front of our driveway.
We have a small creek in the back that normally runs a few feet wide and maybe 1-3 inchs deep. Last night at its biggest point it was 7 feet deep, and 15 feet across
My friends houses that are less than 1 year old faired badly. Lost shingles, leaks, and the fence is down. Not sure if I will go with that home developer now. And on the way to work trash was all over the place on 121 with lights out, and signs in Coppell where bent at 90 degree angles
Anyone else see anything or had any issues with our "mini huricane"? I heard Grand Prairie had 100mph wind gusts
. And I thought the 75 mph wind gusts we had where bad.

It was NASTY last night, i was driving down the service road to 75 dodging those saftey barrels...it was kinda fun honestly. But yeah, there was some deep water in a few places, it was crazy. I don't think there is anything wrong with my house besides a few small branches on the tree out front deciding to peace out.
