R3van's mom, My deepest condolences go out to you and your family members. Such a heart breaking story to have happen to both your Husband & now your Son. I envy you for having such Brave & Patriotic men in your life that would have given their lives for their country or duty. Doesn't seem right that their life should be taken from you by these means.....They served the the local people as protectors & now they will be watching & protecting you from above.

God Bless you !

My condolences. R3VAN was one of my good friends on here, we'd often swap stories since about DR. Pepper since we both worked there. I'll miss him.

Very tragic and I find it unreal that I'm posting in this thread twice. I wish you and your family the best as this has to be a tough time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his mother & his younger brother, 2 of your men have gone forward to meet the Lord. I pray you and your family have strength and continue your personal relationship with the Lord, I know there are 2 great men looking down on you protecting you and waiting till again you all meet .

My350z Staff,

Well said VO. Please know that this is a very tight knit community. We all look out for each other. If there is anything we can do (charity car event in his name?), please let us know. I am sure your husband and son are together looking down on you. Stay strong.

RIP.

Thank you to everyone for the nice words. My name is Rudy, I'm R3VAN'S little brother. My mom is taking it pretty hard right now losing my brother, losing my dad in 2007 and now my brother has taken a toll on my family especially my mom. When my dad died in a motorcycle accident my brother stepped up to the plate as my father figure and the man of the house at the age of 17 and he did a great job, just can't believe he is really gone! I feel so lost without him now we both do. I keep thinking that he is shipped out with the Marines and he will be back in a few months. I just can't believe it?! He did everything right! He wore his protective gear, his full face helmet, his heavy leather jacket with those things on the inside that are supposed to protect you, the special jeans, heavy duty leather boots and gloves! And he still died! Why do people have to text and talk on cell phones while driving?!! I just wish I had a chance to tell my brother how much he meant to me and how much I love him the morning he left home. Thanks again for all the nice words and for hearing me vent here. My brother always said how tight the community was here and how awesome everyone was and now I can see exactly what he was talking about, I'm glad he found this site when he was alive and found such awesome people, so thank you all for making my brother so happy when he was here. RIP brother =(

Thanks alot for that, you might see me on here quite a bit if thats ok with everyone, cuz I don't really have anyone to talk with, it was always my brother who I would turn to for everything especially when I thought my world was falling apart. He was my brother, my protector, my hero. So thank you!
