I dropped a key fob for my former apt through the ashtray hole into my center console. I am a little scared to pull it up and get it out. Anyone with experience in Big D want to help me take all these pieces off and get in there? Beer and food involved....

 

it's easy to pull the console up but if you're scared you -may- be able to reach what you dropped under the shift console.

pop the shift boot up, and if your arms are skinny enough you may be able to stick your hand in there and grab whatever you dropped...

unless it rolled around in there then you just have to pull take it apart. A couple of screws and you should be there.

 

Its only about 6 screws and the shift ****/shift **** trim to take out the center console...
