It would have been a long drive from where you live. BUT, to make up for this, I suggest an even better drive on Friday night closer to your stomping ground in Austin. Go to the site below of the Hill Country Drives for details:

I've been to a few of their drives & they're cool guys. It's not just 350Zs but primarily high-end cars -- Vipers, Z06s, Lotus, BMW M5s, Porsches, etc.
They're meeting at Gattiland in Round Rock (?) at 7pm this Friday night.
