You can't pick a more convenient place, it's on my way home. The tought part for me is to get out of work early. I'll do my best to get out and join.

 

Remember that better late than never applies, that's why we picked Rudy's since it's seat yourself. Hopefully it won't be busy so we can get most of us parked together.

 

Yeah it should be lots of fun. I'll be there with camera, since it's about time we got some photos on this forum. Looking at the Cal forums, all they seem to do is take photos of each other.

I'm also looking forward to swapping stories, talking Z, and of course some of their moist brisket!

 

Well Houston, Dallas, anyone else, you just got shown up by a city with less than a million people, 830,000 in Austin city limits I believe. We had 4 daytonas, 3 superblacks, 1 silverstone, 2 silvers, 1 silverstone g35c, 1 caribbean blue (is that right?) g35c, 1 yellow S2000, and 1 red '03 Cobra.

10 Z's, 2 G35cs, and two others. 12 is a fantastic turnout, and I think we'll pull off more next time. I don't know what happened to DeviousZ and a few others I thought would show for sure. We could easily hit 15-20 Z's, and 20+ including G35s and S2000s and others.

We went just down the road for a photoshoot at the church down the road on Jollyville, about 2 minutes from Rudy's. Rudy's worked out great, and we have great news for next time. Rudy's is definitely going to be the place from here on out if we make this a regular thing, until someone can come up with something better. Jeff (Cobra) and a few others were talking to the General Manager of Rudy's and he said to give him a call in advance next time and they will rope off some parking for us, very cool stuff. They said he is a real car nut, and racing fan, so that works out excellent.

It couldn't have gone better, I think everyone was really pleased at how good of a turnout we had. We should see some pics soon from the photoshoot and meet. We needed to leave a bit earlier, so the light was not optimal. Next time we'll leave for the church earlier next time. We'll be able to get pics at Rudy's next time also, because they will rope off for us.

Just post downsized pics and then we'll have VQracer host some of the good ones in high res for us.

Sounds awesome sorry I couldn't make Rob I had to work I will try to make it next time!!

 

Post when the next meet is and I'll try to make it down there. I've been known to drive to Austin for a meet every once in a while.....
