DFW Road Racing
I want to do some road racing in DFW area. What are the cheapest tracks to put practice time in on? I know motorsports ranch is pretty sweet but also very pricey.

MSR Cresson is a great track. Both Apex Driving Academy and The Driver's Edge have HPDEs scheduled on that track all year long. Your Z was born to track -- drive it like it was meant to be.

You don't have to be a member at MSR Cresson to run at the track. Just sign up for the HPDEs hosted by either Apex Driving Academy ($195 for one day) or The Driver's Edge ($295 for two days). An instructor will be with you the entire time, and you'll get a lot of track time.

And HPDEs have very strict rules regarding what is/not allowed on the track, to include when/where to pass safely.

Eagles Canyon
They are open now also. Might want to check them out. Drivers Edge does a night even every summer at TMS also that is a blast but you need to be a solo'd driver.

TWS is another great track but it's a few hours drive down to College Station.

Apex novice student cost is $205 for one day, that is for instruction and six 20min sessions on the track. That may not sound like a lot of time but trust me it is.
I would argue that doing a HPDE is safer than driving on 635. We have been running the same format at Apex for five years and have never had an accident. All HPDE schools in the area work very hard to keep you and your car safe.
The bad news is our novice slots are sold out until May. We do have a Lamborghini of Dallas event on April 5th everyone can sign up for.
