yes, it was a nice turnout, especially for the 350z's well hopefully by the next meet, they will be serving some BOOZE =)

It was a good turnout. A lot of 350's came out. As I recall only 1 G and 1 Z32 came out. I put it out on the Maxima board, so all the DNE guys rolled in at 1 time. The only semi-bad thing all night was when the cop rolled in. He talked to Cafe RPM and they got the cops to take off. The cop came in their pretty pissed off looking for trouble, fortunately there was none for him to see. He wanted to clear us out, but Cafe RPM backed up. Probably the reason for this is that Cafe RPM is getting to be known as a racer hangout and hence on the hit list for cops.

 

i hope out of respect for the cafe, that everyone who meets there keeps it calm. it would be sad if people decided to start racing through the parking lot and streets. cops will start kicking everyone out and it will hurt their business. i could tell the cops are already pissed this stuff is happening.

they need to be more involved with fighting crime IMO.. if they pursued criminals as hard as they rolled up in there saturday.. the streets would be much safer place

i was rather amused that he pulled up pissed off and had no clue what was really going on. brought a smile to my face

 

I personally enjoyed how Miguel took care of the guy. Very politely told the dude to chill out.

I also thought the two cops hanging out closer to the Tom Thumb was a bit much--just waiting for one of us to do something stupid. You should see the stupid stuff people do at a hangout I go to on Wednesdays--massive burnouts, etc. and the cops drive by but NEVER stop.

its cops like that who give all the rest a bad rap.. ive had run ins with quite a few police who felt they needed to yell and look pissed off to convey their opinions.

i would respect them much more if they didnt try to hide behind their badges so much... its like they were little bitches in high school and now they have immunity so they take advantage of it.

 

Yup! Usually, I'm there with a bunch of F-body people, but sometimes, Chazz stops by. It's nice to see some people that drive something besides a Camaro/TA that's not totally riced out!

Yeah, I still think its kind of amusing at how the cop pulled right up to me and asked me (the 18 yaer old in the green shirt) if we were having a "Car Show" like I was in charge of causing all the "mischief"(sp?) and "complaint calls". O well I had miguel to back me up with his gool 'ole FBI bagde and sweet spider(?) Knife.
Now dosent my black beauty look good out there all by itself after the cop had me move it?
It was nice meeting all you guys and I hope we can get together soon and I hope I can make it to hooters next time!

OT: soory about the late post but i just got my new computer up and running after getting my new vid card in the mail today!
