when i shift and let the clutch in, it sticks about about 1/2' to 1'
it wont come all the way back out until i swing my foot behind it and pull it out

As I said at the track, it's your clutch fluid getting too hot. Supposedly, you can remedy this by adding a higher temperature clutch fluid and getting stainless steel braided clutch line.

Did you ever have this issue taken care of??

My clutch does the same thing but only when its warm outside. I have to pull it back out with my foot. Gets annoying. I thought it was because of my Nismo clutch and JWT Flywheel.

How difficult is it to install a SS cluthline? How about higher temp cluth fluid? Where can I get this stuff?

It's the clutch master cylinder.....I had the same thing.....something about it collapses in high temp.......warranty repair if under 70,000........just tell them that's what it is. I did and they swore it was the clutch...they said my clutch was toast, I argued with them , but finally gave in, put a new clutch and flywheel in, drove home and bam it did it again.....called them......proceeded to rip them a new A-hole after giving in on the clutch....and then guess what....ummm sir it's your master cluth cylinder.........I got $800 back for the clutch and flywheel install and warrantied the cylinder.

mine does the same thing from time to time with a 2000 mile carbonetics 3 disc...what I found was that the "rod" that pushes the clutch fork back and forth doesnt stay in contact with each other..there is about 1/4-1/2 space in between them and that is what causes my pedal to stick sometimes..

I used to have a 2006 roadster, every time i would go to launch the car above 3,500 rpm's the clutch pedal would stick to the floor- this would happen on startup, as well as after driving for 20 40 or even 60 min... this happened on hard shifts while moving or launching took it to the stealer 3x & was told "unable to duplicate, no problem found" I finally got so frustrated i bought an entire jwt clutch assembly & flywheel -that solved the problem and i forgot about it.
Traded the 06 roadster in on an 07 nismo the f'n thing had 7 miles on it, wen't to leave the dealership parking lot (used to the jwt) and the F'N pedal stuck to the floor!!!!! Couldn't get it up, couldn't shift gears just sat there like a retard. I now have 10,000 miles on the nismo and this has caused me SEVERAL less than cool moments. Keep taking it to the dealership and they keep telling me "stop driving your car hard" um... didn't spend an extra 10k on the nismo pkg to drive like a poke.

lol i felt like slapping him, but I felt like a dirty look was more appropriate. ...keep in mind this was the same advisor that told my best friend who was complaining of his clutch having too much play to "move his seat closer to the pedals" oh btw, my friend is 6'5 - i don't think he's having trouble reaching the pedal. LOL! But yeah.. don't drive my car so hard. lmfao.

For what its worth, as I posted in another thread, I have an 08 with 3300 miles on it and this happened to me today after about 20 mins of driving.

I was able to pop the pedal forward after sliding my foot behind, as stated above. Decided to sit there for a min then everything seemed fine afterward. I guess I'll see how she drives tomorrow.

I know. And I'm sorry i'm posting in your section.. it's just that no one in my area seems to be having this problem (almost everyone is boosted w/ rediculous setups).
I seem to be able to pull the pedal up from the floor after about 30 seconds of just revving and looking like a window licker... it's just unacceptable that on a car like this I can't dump it without afraid of being laughed at because my car goes nowhere when the light turns green... you know?

I've been having the same problem. Normally takes about 30 minutes of drivign to show up but with the warmer weather it's happening sooner. 2 weeks ago I swapped out the clutch fluid and that seemed a little better but now it's back. I'll take to the dealer near work tomorrow...
