hey guys i'm looking to buy a new SMB enthusiast 6sp coupe before end of may and i got some quotes from some dealers in town.

lowest so far is 28,948 from RJ over at golf coast nissan. can anyone recommend a sales guy around houston that they've dealt with before and have had a good impression of?

Thanks for any help in advance!

btw is 29k offer on par with what you guys have paid in the past? thanks again, i can't wait to get my Z!

I had a terrible experience with Houston area dealers to get my specific MB Enthusiast 6-speed manual. They all had base models or were automatic grand tourings.

I ended up purchasing my car from Hammond Nissan in Lousiana. They had the specific options I wanted and at $500 cheaper than what the dealers in Houston quoted me. Their service was ok I guess. I do not like dealerships at all, they are all a bunch of jackasses that want to rip you off. I towed my car home and never looked back.

By the way, stay away from the Nissan dealer on I-45 by League City (I think it's called Clear Lake Nissan). Absolutely terrible service. I got so upset that I came close to beating the sales-person's @ss for wasting my time. I wasted hours over there.

Thanks a bunch for the info! good thing you said something about clear lake nissan, i live right there and they were the first dealership i went to

ya it seems all nissan dealerships are pretty bad but I was looking for a candle in the dark and maybe someone found a good sales guy. Hopefully I won't have to go all the way out of state to get the car I want.

edit: btw that car is hawt, congrats!

Try Kirk Verett At Mossy Nissan. He is the Internet sales guy, and has been good for me...tell him Joseph sent you.

Try Bill Jaynes @ Sterlling McCall....tell him Eric sent ya.

But the 29k (OTD) for a enthusiast sounds reasonable to me.

I am assuming the OP is shopping for an 08, and let me tell you the best price I could find (in Houston) last June for an 07 Enthusiast was $31,500. I went to every dealer in Houston and all of them refused to go lower than that.

I finally got a good price from Hammond Nissan in Lousiana for $31,000 OTD.

29k for a brand new 08 Enthusiast would be a steal buddy.

no kidding about the local dealers guys. out of the 8 or so dealers I've called around Houston, only the two guys that you guys suggested knew anything about the Z.

thanks a lot for the input, definitely would've been pulling hair by now if I didn't know to ask for those two guys.

so far best offer is around 29,300.

they don't have my model/options so its gonna have to be shipped from japan

just wanted to say thx for everyone's help and hopefully i'll make the purchase before the end of the month
