Today on 646 I saw another PPW with a veilside lip. I waved but he didnt wave back. lol

Last night I went to Walmart to buy some windshield wipers. I came out to see another PPW Z parked right next to mine. Theres alot of Z's in this area!

I was wondering about this Starbucks meeting place?
Do we have permission to meet there?...or do the police come by and run everybody off?

I live in Santa Fe and would enjoy an occassional something to do on the South Side.
I run with the Z Club of Houston, but most of our members are on the North and West Side. While we have some great events, very few of them are on our side of town.

The Saturday Night Show in Kemah is a pretty good one. I've been a couple of times with one of my old cars. Unfortunately, our cars are kind of looked down on because of the reputation the ricers have laid down.
I think if we go...as a group...park together...be respectful (no loud stereos, burnouts,etc) we would be more welcomed.

Whaddaya say we get organized and "do this thang"?
How about this Saturday Night?

Let's meet up at 6pm behind the Taco Cabana on I-45 (Santa Fe, Kemah Exit). The one in front of HEB. We can go in and grab a taco and scoot out of there about 6:30 and caravan over to Kemah. Just an FYI...the Chick-Fil-A, right there by the show, offers a 10% discount if you bring a car, so if you don't like tacos, you can eat there.
Anybody interested?...and PLEEEZE !!!! (I'm begging)....don't tell me that you're going to be there (or my favorite..."I'm down with that"), and then not show up
Any suggestions, recommendations, input?

Zcardave, we have permission to be at the starbucks parking lot. The police knows we're there and they approve of it as long as we follow the rules. They're actually really cool about it and would stop in from time to time to talk about cars and shoot the **** with everyone. Theres actually a couple nice Z's that used to go, Im not sure if they go anymore though.

Last time I went it was kinda dead but I think I went out too early. If i go this friday ill let everyone knows how it turns out.

 

My parents go see the cars there every Saturday night. I would love to see a group of Z's representing there as well. I won't be around this weekend but could participate in the future if anyone else wants to.

Haha i figured you didnt see. Im on 646 alot. What is all done to your car? Where'd you get the lip from? That's probably going to be my next mod.

 

I live in Bay Colony, so I'm on 646 everyday...:-) I haven't done much to it except the 25mm spacers and the lip. I got the lip from Intensepower. I'm thinking to get side/rear skirts, but not sure what to get to match with the lip.

What have you done to yours? Don't you have aftermarket rims?

 

I have Nismo exhaust, Pop charger and the powerlabs plenum spacer. Im on stock track rims. How much did you pay for it shipped? I was close to buying one but I bought the spacer and some other stuff instead. It's carbon fiber right?

Oh nice. I wanted one for awhile now. I like the pop charger alot. It might or might not made a difference in hp. But it "feels" good i guess haha. But I think its different on the HR motor.

Im right around the corner too. dang it i wish i could make it out there saturday but i dont get off work until 10:30-11. What time is the actual meet over?

We should schedule a cruise to a meet for next week or the week after too. And also start a roster for whos all going.
