Free Drag Racing School - August 9th
Well, after I got the further below email yesterday evening, I dialoged with Denise today and she said it would be fine to get the word out for more people to sign up. They have 10 signed up now and there's room for 25, comfortably. If there's more, they can make it work. Here is the URL with the link to register, or Denise said you can send her an email with your name, mailing address, email address, birth date, daytime phone number and evening phone number.

NHRA/Turbo Magazine Track Conduct Seminars Presented by Nitrous Express
"The NHRA/Turbo Magazine Track Conduct Seminar is a way for beginners to learn the ropes of drag racing. By understanding where to be and when and knowing what will happen from the staging lanes to the staging lights and beyond, newcomers to our sport will get more enjoyment out of the experience. The seminars, presented by Nitrous Express, which will be conducted by Turbo magazine editor Evan Griffey, will feature input from NHRA officials and top drivers. NHRA officials provide information about what to expect in tech, safety basics and drivers offer behind the wheel insight into the intricacies that make the racing so much fun."

We are happy to have all of you join us at the Turbo & High-Tech Performance Track Conduct Seminar being held at Texas Motorplex, Ennis, TX. This year's class will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, August 9. We will be meeting in one of Press Suite 103 which is located just behind the starting line. Please tell track personnel monitoring entry into the tower suites that you are attending the Track Conduct Seminar and watch for a poster indicating the proper room number.
Gates to the track open at 3:00. While the Track Conduct Seminar is free of charge, it will still be necessary for you to pay the track entry fee.
Evan Griffey, Editor of Turbo & High-Tech Performance magazine will be conducting the seminar along with Jim Skelly, NHRA Race Director, Sport Compact Series. One of the top Pro Drivers will also join us to explain how to get the most out of the racing experience. If you want to learn how to race successfully, this is the class for you. Duration of the seminar is approximately 1 1/2 hours. We have a lot of material to cover in a short period of time...PLEASE BE PROMPT TO CLASS.
In addition to the above you can beat the heat by spending the rest of the day enjoying the races from the suite. Texas Motorplex is extending an invitation to all who attend the seminar. A suite pass will be given to you when the class is over, along with your goodie bag, magazines, etc.
See you in Dallas!
