Where is this located at again? Wish it was in the DFW metroplex area.

I'm guessing this is in Houston. Is there nothing other than Speedzone here in DFW?

Edit: The name alone screams San Antonio.

i drove by speedzone the other day, and the big "grand prix" track is all torn out and its just a grass field. i assume they are going to replace it with a cooler track?

theres a new indoor kart/bowling/pizza/games/etc place opening soon in mesquite. i think the same company has a location in irving area. there is also celebration station in mesquite and probably several others..

BUUUT. most of them im sure have gimp *** slow family carts.

The bad *** karts are definitely fun, but I'll admit I can still have fun out there with a bunch of buddies on any track and in any kart. We should hit up something.

Yes. The track is in the San Antonio area. Here is a link to thier website:

The Nissan/Infiniti Club in San Antonio is working on some things right now. We are trying to get some of the other car clubs in our area to join in for some kick butt competition. I will keep you folks posted.

That looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
We were at AJ's karts about 2 months ago, one of the fastest cart tracks in the north east.

Well, the karts are quick, however, when the track is open to the general public, they tune them down. IF a group event was planed to happen, they will add more hp to the carts and make them go prety darn quick.

Yes. They way they have prices show, they are confusing. That is why I've been able to obtain group prices which are much better. Now, here is the only problem. You will have to ware jeans, tennis shoes and a long sleve shirt in order to be allowed to drive the karts.

Long sleeve shirts as in, sleeve all the way down to the wrist? Or just a regular t-shirt is fine?

You have to be dressed like this:

They had some pants that I could put on AND some of their long sleeve shirts, however, I would contact them in advance and ask them.

Long sleeve shirts is a bit much imo. Especially in 100 degree blazing weather. Basically fully covered clothes?

Well, you need to understand that wearing long sleeve is not for comfort but for your protection (safety). In reality, wearing long sleeve is actually better for your body -- it keeps you cooler, believe it or not. Most Middle Easterns wear full clothing (mostly in white) to stay cool.

Yes I know it's for safety reasons. But in reality, how much faster are these compared to speedzone go karts when open to the public? I think they allow you to wear short, short sleeve shirts, and probably don't even need tennis shoes either, not 100% sure but I don't think they are really that strict. Just my opinion anyways, I'd like to be somewhat comfortable driving.

Being out in the heat in the San Antonio area, especially in the Boerne area, there is not much humidity outside like in Houston, Dallas or down in the valley. Also, we really do not have mosquitos here.

FYI - I was wearing two shirts and two pants when I was out driving those karts for over 10 minutes.

Remember, we live in the new world of lawsuits. This is for the companies protection and for everyone who races in the karts. Here is what everyone is to be dresses in order to drive/race.

Also, before/after you race, you will be able to hang out inside. Here are some pictures of the inside.
