What size helmet do you wear? I may be able to get you a loaner for the day.

Oh, man, sorry Speed. For some reason, I never got notified that you posted a reply. hmmmm....

Shoot, well, I wear a large. I am going to try to get a helmet soon. Do you need a full face?

BTW, how did it go out there? Did the suspension make a difference?

On another topic, I am getting the stereo installed this week out at Tweeter Frisco. Looks like I got into the middle of a feud between Jason and Marcus. I don't know why Jason is complaining so much about Marcus, the only reason I went there was becuase of Marcus.

Kevin--Don't need a full face, actually open face helmets make things a little easier to see sometimes. Didn't actually get to run Sunday, so I'm still waiting to see how my suspension will handle. I had to leave a little early, and there was a little mix up, so I wouldn't have been able to run my first laps until almost noon. But they tell me they're gonna work on that for next time, but I'll be out of town for the 31st event. Hopefully the next one after that, and by then, I'll probably have my new sways, too.

Hey (other--lol) Kevin, you can sometimes find really good deals at Pawn Shops, too. Just an FYI if you're still looking.

I considered a pawn shop, but got kinda grossed out :P

I went to the Yamaha/Suzuki place off 820-S in northern FW and got a plain black open faced (I think I will like this more for visibility and hearing) helmet for $55.

Graham, the open face is a good choice with the road course stuff. I've got both (my NHRA stuff requires the full face helmet) and I can see a lot more with the open face.

I'm still dreaming about my arai helmet, though, when I can afford a bike, too.

LOL. He thought I didn't do any of the work on my car since there was no dirt under my nails. I asked him if he heard of lava soap, and showed him my knuckle scars. He believed me after that.

Nope, but I have been known to mess with salesmen--playing up the "dumb girl" thing, and just when they think they've got a sale for WAY more than the car's worth, BAM! It used to really amuse me in high school.

And I'll tell hubby he should be grateful for me. lol Too bad in high school, most of the guys thought of me as "one of them" and didn't ask me out on many dates!

Sight Vs. Safety.... I'll choose safety...
Sight = an Open Face
Safety = A Wide cut Full Face...
