Need Help!!!!
I sent my transmission to SGP Racing in Houston Texas, and I haven't been able to get ahold of them since the hurricane!! I certainly hope everyone over there is ok. I am wondering if anyone has spoken to someone over there since the hurricane, or if anyone lives close to their shop. I would really like to know if their shop suffered any damage. I know they had a lot of cars at their shop that they were trying to take to a safe place before the storm. Hopefully nobody else on the forum had their car there...
Please help!!

SGP is a reputable shop. I know you know that, otherwise you would not have sent them your transmission. The situation here in Houston is not that good, and the city is still struggling to get some normalcy. There are still many many areas without power. People here are a little bit preoccupied with getting their homes, and belongings in order. We are experiencing problems with groceries, gasoline, power, ice, water, and so on. FEMA has taken over phone lines, and who knows what else. Just be patient if you can,
I know that they will get back to business as usual very soon.

just realize that there is a pretty good chance that other peoples cars/their business may have to take a back seat right now. they could be trying to get their affairs in order, or just trying to deal with the changes brought on by the hurricane. once things get back in order down there, they should get back to you soon.
Hey what's up! I actually have my car there right now and I spoke with one of the Lead Techs there yesterday. They have been closed for a week and they are opening back up tomorrow. From what I heard, they did not get any damage to the shop. Hope that helps!

Hey HKS350z,
Was your car at SGP during the storm? I know they were trying to take the cars to another location to avoid damage. I called this morning and the receptionist hung up on me. I assume someone must have been rude to her earlier and she thought I was that person. All I did was ask for Mark and she slammed the phone down. I called back and the same thing happened. Then I had my wife call, and the receptionist didn't hang up on her. Everyone over there has always been super nice, so I'm sure that's what happened.
