Austin Drifters! Where do you put it down after hours???
I've only found a couple good places in Killeen so far. Have don't too much searching. But I am willing to make the trip to Austin to meet up with some street sliders. Curious as to where the good spots are down there!
I've spent a good amount of time looking around and looking on Google Earth for a big parking lot but I haven't found an ideal spot yet.
One request -- if someone knows a good spot, I think it's best not to post it here in this public forum. I'm not saying don't share it with other Z enthusiasts, but just keep it off the forum where cops and anyone else can read it. If you stick to private message or email, you have a better chance of the spot lasting a longer time.

Apparently, the local Mustang clubs seem to think the traffic circles in my neighborhood make the most sense to drift around.
Especially at 2:30 in the morning.

Still too scared of hurting my car to do more than a lazy drive through there. If I hit 50, it's not for long!
My last drive along Lime Creek, from Volente to Anderson Mill, I was stopped near Anderson Mill for about an hour as the sheriffs were busy pulling a 240 SX out of the trees at the side of the road . . .
i just found lime creek 2 weeks ago by accident. i saw like 5-6 bikes turning off a road so i fugured it was probably fun so i went. i saw the 15mph turn and i was like yeah 15 ok sure, so i was doing like 40-45 and **** right at the apex you can see where ppl lock up their tires and go into the trees. well luckily i have so much oversteer i made it, but it was a surprise thats for sure. you definately need to drive this road before you try to do anything crazy. oh and make sure you go up it the first time not down. going down is probably a lot worse. Anyway this is definatly the best road in have found so far in austin.
