getting body work done for the sole purpose of removing emblems seems like a waste of money.

QFT.

And I thought the 350Z emblem was just an emblem with no holes, and only the Nissan emblem itself had holes underneath them?

from what i understand on the coupes there are holes underneath the emblem. even though they serve no purpose what so ever.

that is currently on the front of my vehicle and what i removed on the rear

I got mine taken off and it is more than just bondo and touch up paint

they had to shave it down and paint the entire hatch again to make sure it wasn’t blotchy and that it matched evenly (I don’t know if it just because it was silver and its harder to match)

What color is your car btw?

I had mine filled, and painted. The whole hatch was painted as well. Its really a pain to do it right, I had the glass removed and the whole hatch painted to make sure the paint was uniform.

Put the original Nissan emblem back on there. Don't really like the Z emblem. And it's too much work to shave the entire emblems off (bondo, and repainting, and colors not blending so well anymore, not like stock blends that great anyways but still).

lol agreed - I got lucky with mine, if I didnt fall in to my situation I would have learned to love it

if you have black you can get those black plugs to fill it in and cant really tell unless up close but that is the cheap ghetto way out of it

I like the Black pearl emblems on Black Z's. I was thinking of having all of mine re-done.

And I would rather have a Z emblem instead of the Nissan Burger anyday.

I agree with Nexx, thats way too much work just to debadge.

Kristi,

I found these on a site. I think the silver CF side emblems would look good on your Z.

Those aren’t bad - I heard if you take paint thinner it will take the black off but I’ve tried it and noting at all lol

Damn thing is so uncooperative

somehow i got the same emblem on both sides of the car, bumper holes were edited out

i would like to put something like that on the back and probably the black nissan symbol on the front, but im not really willing to pay 80+ for plastic

I still have my holy rear end.

But srsly... We're painting my Nissan emblem flat black and slapping it back on. If all else fails, I'm going to get a Nismo badge to cover up the holes. I think I'm going to go with the Nismo badge...
