Theres alot of things to do in Austin, hit up 6th street and the surrounding area if you want to goto the bars. Theres a bunch of long curvy hilly roads you can drive on and lots of outdoor stuff like camping and floating the river. I guess it depends on what you want to do.

There's an HPDE track event by the Driver's Edge at Harris Hill Road, a 1.8-mile road course just south of Austin, in San Marcos. It's saturday and sunday, from 8am - 5pm I think.
If you're not a participant, you can still watch the event, talk to other participants, etc. Driver's Edge also offers "charity rides", where non-participants can pay $25 and get to ride with an instructor for a 25-minute session. If you show up, I'd be happy to give you a fun ride in my 350z, or I can help you find another instructor to ride with. I know there will be a few instructors with Lotus Exiges and Elises. Email me (better than PM) if you're interested and I can answer any other questions you have. Here's a video of me, but at a different track (Texas World Speedway) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trzu1Ht_yus
