Allen, good luck on getting the Z.

Fabien, I'll have the rest of your cash on Monday. We can meet in Harlingen any day during the week or we can wait till Friday night at the track. What did you get Is it/can it/will it annihilate my Z? Tell us or show us.

i know the 370z's have a TSB on that. wd-40 always does the trick. haha. Have you tried using an impact "gun" ?

Yeah, I used the impact gun but the problem is that the stud bolt got cross-threaded. So, it won't loosen or tighten and the stupid stud came loose from the hub. It just spins together with the nut.

I'm going to order some new studs today. Hopefully, they'll come in by Friday. I'm itching to go to the track.

Impact gun + extra set of hands
Using your impact gun, plus somebody actually pull the tire out should do the trick.

That is what I'm going to try 1st. I'm going to use a prybar to push the wheel out and hopefully press the stud into the hub enough for it to grab. Its just that the damn nut is cross threaded so it might not come out.

If that don't work. I'm hoping to be able and fit my grinding wheel in between the gap and cut that stud off.

Alex is suppose to come help out tomorrow. Two people should so the trick.

And if that don't work, then I'm going to have to drill out the stud nut and break it off somehow. I'll figure something out.

3 day air'd the extended wheel studs. So I should be good by Friday.

Just my luck! Nothing worked. Had to drill out the nut and stud. what a PITA. After drilling a few holes along the nut and stud and relieving some of the stress, I was able to pull the tire w/prybar and get that nut loose. It wasn't as easy as it sounds. Broke about 5 bits in the process and probably have more gray hairs because of it. Anyways, tire is off. Now I just need the extended lugs to come in. So far Friday track night is still on.

Where has Danny Red been? Is he banned again under his new name? Wonder how his surgery went.
