Actually, my Powerlab kit was on an 06. Kevin and Ruben installed it.

Kevin and Alex installed the turbonetics kit on Alex's car.

I'm gonna install my Powerlab on mine with some help from Kevin and Alex. Tuning will take place in Austin at Protech more than likely unless you guys recommend another shop somewhere.

Stock internals for now, but hopefully will be building up sometime down the road. I hope the engine lasts till sometime next year. 400 rwhp is about as much as you want to go with an 03 DE stock block for reliability issues. But, since I don't drive my car much, I may push it a bit more. I hate driving on stock wheels

 

UpRev, also in austin. Heard nothing but good things from there. I will be taking my car for a tune there hopefully sometime this year

 

Hey guys i just got a email from the administrator from rgv4cyl about a gathering thats going on this weekend april 25. They have invited us to go to this gathering. I was wondering if any of you all would like to go. Ive never been to one but it will be good to represent our team. Sooooo what do you all think ?

Thanks Mike, I'll look into UpRev. So far I have Protech, Engine Logics in Houston, and Jotech but I don't think they tune UTECS.


My car will be in pieces starting today (state holiday). Going to remove hood, bumper, headlights (need a polish), exhaust, and we'll se what else I can get to. Won't be able to make the meet. let me know how it pans out. Someone take some pics.

Never mind. I read the information after I posted this.

 

I 99.9% trust Engine Logics. He is a great person.

Took your advice:

Been looking into Engine Logics but truthfully, I don't think the person I dealt with knows anything about FI 350z.

1. He didn't even know what whp the engines can handle or would handle.

2. He ask me if I new what the engines were capable of.

3. I told him I wanted 400rwhp and will be using 600cc injectors and he replies that I'd be just short of maxing out my injectors for that much power. Then he said that Alex would not get there with his 440s. Please, Forget them. I gave them a chance and they (he) blew it.

I won't disclose names but maybe if I called in person, I might speak to someone more knowledgeable. So much for emails.


Who did you deal with over there?

 

I only speak to the owner. His name is Chris. His voice sounds like he's from England when he is from South Africa. He is a white person, fyi. He and his wife live at his shop. It has been over a year since I've spoken with him since I'm no longer in the Houston area nor do I have the G35.

 

Finally my wing is going to be painted. Dammnnn ive been waiting a long time. Hopefully ill have it on by this weekend or next week. Not to sure yet i just went today so they can compare the paint on my car.
