if it was the stillen MAYBE.. but he would have noticed the big *** hood scoop..

if it was the procharger, i call BS

BUT it was an old man... who knows, he may have left VDC on, couldnt drive, or didnt really have a SC
Im in the DFW area Bryant Irvin to be exact

And I'm Procharged have been for over a month

I have not raced a LS1

But i did race a M3 and i won wooo hooo

The night I was racing .... I did see and ran beside a LS1. We played but never really ran one another. Either I took off and he stayed put or visa versa. I was trying to get him to follow me over to where we race from a stop in an industrial area with no other traffic as apposed to in the middle of traffic

If this is the race they are talking about it never happened and from was I could tell he didn't stand a chance of beating me

most LS1 guys = Supra guys in attitude.. lol. I used to have a LT1 camaro and the LS1 guys would be in shock and disbelief if/when I beat them in races. Strange crowd....

LOL, strange crowd? It goes both ways, the mustang guys are even worse than you perceive the "LS1" guys to be. You have to get passed the few idiots, they're on every board.

I am in Richardson.. shoot me a PM or post sometime.. I have a '01 LS1 auto with bolt ons that I would like to run you in. I noticed that u like going from a stop.. i do too... when u see my car, it will look like I have no chance of beating you..maybe i will..maybe i wont.... I have been curious to see how a blown 350 does against a bolt on LS1.. I do have a small 3200 stall converter which is part of the bolt on package.. i am not gonna BS you..let me know..

what the heck is a bolt on ?
really doesn't matter, I just like to race, doesn't matter if I win or lose! I do like to know I am racing and not someone driving by saying they raced me. Heck if all I wanted to do is pull up to any car and then punch it without letting them know what I was up to then I guess I could say I beat every car out there.

I should be out Saturday night cruising the usually spot for races.
See you when I see you.

lol! A bolt on part is something that can be done with basic tools.. Basically.. performance mods that arent internal like a big cam or ported heads.. I have headers, intake (lid), a exhaust cutout, and a 3200 vigilante stall converter. I like the racing personality of yours hehe.. I'm the same way.. cant win em all. I dont go out to the spots anymore like I used to back in the days but I will keep in touch with you through PM and we can meet up somewhere and make some friendly runs.

exactly... i'll have an idea of how your car will do in the 1/4 or 1/8 as well after we run. I dont have any slicks but I guess my Nitto DR'S will be good enough. You can bring anyone you like to make sure I dont have spray in the car.. Never had it and most likely never will

well went out tonight on the hunt and found one poor Honda with many bolt ons and spray. He said he runs in the 13s, but if that is the case I must be runing in the 12s based on the way I pulled him all the way up to shifting into 4 th gear.

However that will be may last race until I can get a new blower cog belt, since upon shifting into 4th something ate all my belt teeth off. I quess that is the excessive belt tooth wear they mention in the install manual to watch for

Just got off the phone with George Grubb III. He is on top of the problem and already has a replacement belt. I am taking the car to Grubbs Infiniti tomorrow to get the 500 mile warranty work done on the charger and to get the belt problem resolved. I am also going to take it to Lone Star performance to get it tuned with dyno at Grubbs expense

I am going out to mineral wells this Sunday to autox ... be there from 8am to 4pm if you want to see how it performs.
