sunday the 5th is the next scca event at GGP. technically our Z's and coffee would be the following sunday the 12th. i have 3 suggestions for that; 1 we change it to the afternoon(for those that cant wake up early or travel far), 2 we make a 2nd meet at the end of the month down south to be fair, and 3 invite all nissan/infiniti enthusiasts not just the Z. Friday nights theres always something jtran, 2920 and 45 if you feel like watching kids act stupid, and target in kemah...

I'm all ears fella's... keep me posted on the final verdict.
Also - the Kemah meet in Target are mostly domestics and hot rods but a group of the Motoring members go there to chill and parlay.
I understand any meet we attend that location maybe farther to some members than others and it sux to live so far south cause there ain't chit going on cept' the Target meet on Saturday nights.

Nice meeting you Cornell. Z is slammed man... crazy.
We've been going to that meet for almost 2 years now. The most Z's we've had out there were 16 @ one time +1 GTR & a near mint '71 240Z. Some weeks it's big, some weeks people have things to do. Here are some of the pics.

It's an older laid back crowd. They really don't care what anyone thinks unless you park in the middle of the car show. We always park off to one side & make our own section of imports. The Euro's make their own section too when they come out.

Fellas, I'll be visiting H-town this Wednesday-Sunday and was wondering the following:
-Do you all have a lookout point? Something that looks out over the city?
-Any restaurants with a view? or a "highest restaurant in the city" type of place? Much like the skyline bar and grille you all use to have as seen here http://vvoice.vo.llnwd.net/e7/5025150.92.jpg or the revolving restaurant that you all have (though it's closed till October)
-Any drive-in theatres other then Zocalo? I hear Zocalo plays artsy weird movies.
-Between raceway park & motorsports park, which one would be the one to visit this week? (I may be missing a drag strip or two, I'm not from Houston)
Anything else that you all recommened? I hear the waterwall is kinda neat. I'll have my girl with me so I gotta think about things she'd like as well.
Also, has anyone been to the Houston button? Is it even worth visiting? http://isthishouston.com/2007/09/14/secret-button/
Thanks in advance.
