Just ask the guy ahead of time and agree on a price, $40 or less should do it.

Its cool, id prefer stripping out everything but the dash and seats then welding in a cage...
1. I still have about a year to pay it off then the real fun begins
2. Girlfriends usually dont like loud gutted race cars for a dailys

Why are all you so worried about what your girl thinks of what you're doing to your car?! If you financially can support it, she should support what you want. Yes they might think it's stupid, but it better than dumping your money on strippers and booze. I think it's stupid that they need $500 purses. But if it what she wants and we can afford it... Knock herself out. Stop being bitches yourself and do what you want! Time for American men to take their ***** back from their women! [/end rant]

Well mines not exactly purpose built yet. And I could fab a cage easy. Got the welding, shaping, and cutting stuff in the back yard. Just don't really have the loose ends to throw down and buy all the pipe to cage it up. That and I gotta find me a nice set of seats to put inside that cage. And a quick disconnect hub and steering wheel...and and and....the list goes on.

lol, gotta convince her to drop some $$$'s on a car then. She really really doesn't like fast cars at all. Scares her to death. Literally. But she's got good reason for it.

Trust me when I say it's a give, take relationship! What happens when you've been together 10yrs! Also spends a couple years in the Middle East and you can have a lot more toys too.

I believe in the give or take theroy also because whether wife likes in what i do i still choose what i want...but luckly she supports my ideas and it didnt take 10 years. True about the time over seas but not everyone needs to go over there to make the same change...

Oh it didn't take tens years. LOL But it does take time and understanding each other. I think we also sometimes look at most people and don't see the sacrifices they give to get what they have. My mention of contract work overseas is in reference for financial gain. I didn't and not going to the Middle East cause it's fun. LOL!!!

I remember you because we both lived in Colorado at one point then both moved to Texas! I can't wait for my car to go from stock to aftermarket!
