Question Anyone have an AAM y-pipe?

Hey guys!

I have a nasty raspy sound that I believe is coming from my oem ypipe.
My exhaust setup:
- berk test pipes (2.5")
- oem y-pipe (2.0")
- nismo mid pipe and muffler (3")

The annoying raspy sound comes when I rev to 2.5-3k rpm's.. My theory is that the air flow bottlenecks when leaving the test pipes into the stock ypipe.

The AAM ypipe has 2.5" inlets..

I am wondering if I can just do a TEST FIT by borrowing someone's AAM y-pipe. I would install it and then do a quick test drive to see if the rasp has gone away, then give it back to you (unless you wanna sell it to me)..

can anyone help?

- berk test pipes (2.5")

this is the reason for your rasp, not the y stock pipe...

Wether the aftermarket Y pipe will reduce rasp, there is only one way to find out.

I hate that noise as well. If you find out how to eliminate that rasp let me know. Sounds like a rattlesnakes stuck in my exhaust
