So today was a pretty rainy day and all i was worried about was getting to school in one piece. Little did I know that it was perfect for people to go into the parking garage at University of Houston to steal car parts. They took my VIS carbon fiber lip!!!

I seriously wanted to strangle some one but then again my buddy who parked his RSX next to me got hit the worse. They stole his whole audio setup. Pioneer multimedia/nav, speakers, bass, etc. And to add insult to injuries they took his shift **** and TYPE S logo. All I have to show is a all the scratch and scraps they put on my front bumper.

Excuse me while i go home and search for a new lip kis.

 

tell me about it. My girlfriend just got her 370z keyed yesterday. They are lucky I didn't see them doing it, wouldn't have ended well for that person.

 

Damn thats crazy. Who honestly goes out and steals a front lip? lol I mean I guess its easy but c'mon

I talked to campus security and get this. They said they can't ID them but from what they can tell the guys wore dark gray/black hoodies and they may or may not be student. I'm so glad my tuition money goes to such good security. </sarcasm>

Seriously I wish I caught these guys in the act, i swear they wouldn't be able to touch any car ever again.

But thats what Houston has came to. My friend had his S2000 stripped and parted while he was shopping on black friday! Then days later he found the seats for sale on Houston-Imports. Same color, same wear pattern, and most important same tear on the seat.

Just be careful guys, I think my next investment would be a alarm kit with a mile + range.

 

The damage. They even scratched up the bumper too to give my baby some ugly freckles.

They ripped the under rubber piece so now its hanging down. I had to duct tape it to drive home or else it would just scrape everywhere.

 

Most camera/security devices blow. You would think they would have upgraded equipment in todays day and age.

UH is getting bad but so is everywhere around Houston...I'm paranoid to leave my car parked outside on my drive way because some dudes were snooping around my neighbor's RSX Type S but luckily saw em and came out with a gun/bat
