awesome man, i am planning on attending the cars and coffee in june. do you happen to know what kind of turn out it is supposed to be? also do you know of any meets/cruises/races on friday night that you know of? the car scene at night if you will?

 

SkaterZ04, First off...hopefully your not looking to find Races on a friday night thru this Forum....because peeps on here are much more Mature and responsible with their cars ! We do not have meets and cruises that result in a Racing event !

We have a great bunch of peeps here that enjoy their car and enjoy the interaction of learning from each other and racing in controlled environments like the AutoX's, Time trials, or the Drifting events......Please leave the Racing to the controlled environments. I hate read about your type in the morning papers about racing deaths !

**The C&C event will start very early...if you don't get there by 8:00 am to park in their lot..... then you will be parking on the lots away from the venue ! **

 

well thank you, i didnt mean to sound like i was just looking for a race. i have only been there a few times and i wasnt sure what kind of scene it was there. where im from we dont have really any organized racing, the drag strip is only open one weekend a month. and that is it. and dfw is a few hours away, so getting out there alot is kinda hard.

 

No Chris... if you remember correctly , if you are not in the lot by 7:30 your not getting a spot, if you want to park as a group, guessing ya better get there by 7:00 at the latest !

 

And just FYI, this next C&C is on the same day as SUPER CHEVY SUNDAY weekend!!!!! I'll be in Enis !!!!! Oh yeah baby. Muscle, Jet + Drag = Adrenaline.

 

skaterZ04, Sorry if I sounded kinda crass...but we really don't have any street racing members on this forum for the DFW area. Like I stated before...there are plenty of us that drive in the AutoX, Time trials, Drifting, and even the Drag Strip ! If you want to go to the Drag Strip, get a hold of 3hree5ive0ero ! He loves to Drag strip race....he will hook you up with the places to go to. He is an Admin on the site here.

I have been to the Drag strip with him once before....he taught me a bunch of things....And he is fast ! Send him a PM.

I would like for you to come on out to an AutoX event with us locals here and see if you like it....because if you like to drive fast in a straight line....then your gonna love AutoX !
