Where can I get an alignment in san Antonio? My z sits about 1/2-3/4 of an inch off the ground. A friend of mine suggested raising it for the alignment then relowering afterwards. Just curious of anyone knew a place that could do it.
Most alignment shop should have a tool (dunnage or wood boards) to elevate your car appropriately without damaging the body. I would suggest you call around. If you were in Shreveport, I would have provided you with some of mine.
actually nvm. im dumb. yea u might need to raise ur car if it's that low so techs can measure your specs..
i would raise it enough just to clear that 1inch rail at firestone where i mentioned to you and seriously you wont feel any different if you decide lowering it after . The rear of the car is fine you can go as low as you want but the fronts you will need to raise it... i heard SA has one dont recall the name. If you track your car thats a different story..

So you're going to align the car at "A" height and then lower it to "B" height? That's not a good idea. The best plan would be to find the shop that can get you on and off the lift at your desired ride height.
The NTB shops here in DFW have in-ground lifts that are perfect for lowered cars. That's the only place I take my Z for alignment. Plus, I paid for the warranty on the alignment, so every time I change a suspension part/setting I go back and have them correct the alignment.

these a new place off bandera that has a under ground lift. I roommate got his z aligned there and he is slammed.
I have a lifetime alignment with brake check but I dont know if I will be able to get on there ramps when I slam my z again.
I will try and get you the name of the place with that lift though

I did a search for you. Start with the closest one to you and call and ask if they have an in-ground lift. Pay for the 3-4 year alignment (which is between $150-$180) and you'll be set.

Finsanto off bandera and braun...they have an inground lift. that's where me, Royal_T, & ATX350 went to get an alignment.
the mechanic that did my alignment left a monkey wrench on the rear camber arm when i drove off (found it when i took wheel off to clean it). Royal_T and ATX350 had a good experience there. The idiot who moved my car onto the alignment rack didn't know where reverse was...put it in 6th gear...then ran into the 1ft tall curb and cracked my C-west CF lip. wasn't a big crack, but it chipped a piece off (i had just gotten the lip...barely a week old). they bought me a new one though...but that was a different hassle all in itself.

Kinda crazy that you would promote a shop that effed up in multiple ways.
When I see pics of Royal-T's car the word "alignment" does not come to mind at all. Maybe I just haven't seen recent pics though.

+1 on NTB - nothing beats in ground alignment action.
