Default Suspension tuning help

Hi guys,

My name is James and I am new to the area. I am putting KW Clubsports on my 350z and was wondering if there is anyone in the area that can tune coilovers. I don't want to just throw them on and hope for the best. If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

James

I probably won't be back anytime soon. Especially if you are leaving soon.

Whatever happened with your bike accident?

I'll be in school in California for most of the year, but I may go over Thanksgiving to go hunting with my uncle if the timing works out.

Yea I am sure you will. We went out to see if anything was happening last night, it was dead. My co-worker has a S14 with a Tomei turbo and some other odds and ends. He is getting tuned Saturday, hopefully we see some numbers in the 400s.

I am leaving to go back to LA on Sunday and will be back in the DFW area in 2-3 weeks. Everything depends on finding a house.

Anybody else in the DFW know how to actually tune coilovers? I am not implying AcidJack does not, just trying to see what my options are.

Really - I would get them on and have a shop tune them...corner balance...whatever...that way you know its correct.. your going to be the only one that can tell if YOU like it or not and adjust accordingly.. Definitely not something you can do in one day...well the install is cake, but adjusting and making sure everything is perfect..

That takes time..

Well that's what im looking for. A shop or someone that can do that. I know it is more than just putting them on and takes time getting everything setup. I'm just need to find someone that can haha.

What are your goals for the car? Track days, wheel to wheel, autocross, fun street car? I've found that most of the time tuning on the street doesn't get you as much as tuning on a racecourse.

Well right now she is a daily driver. I would like to do track days and auto-x events with her. Though I still want to be able to drive back and forth to work.

I agree tuning on the track will be a lot better than tuning on the street.

I've heard that "Dallas Frame & Alignment" does corner balancing, but I've never contacted them. Other than that I dunno.
